Accounts Office Manager celebrates a decade at Invicta
Your orders are in experienced hands with our Accounts Office Manager, Matt Knight, who is celebrating 10 years at Invicta.
In the last decade, Matt has looked after hundreds of customer and supplier accounts, as well as achieving a series of AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualifications, culminating in the highest-level possible of Fellow (FMAAT). This accolade is reserved for those with the most senior expertise and skills.
Outside of the office, Matt is a keen runner and has run all distances from 5km to ultramarathons - his longest being 48 miles. He likes to support The Children’s Hospital Charity, which is a cause close to his heart. In 2017, he “braved the shave” and has also run several half marathons, including the Great North Run, to raise money for the charity.
Matt is heavily involved in Pickering (Community Park) Junior Parkrun, a weekly 2km run for children aged between 4 and 14. He is a keen cook and has recently invested in a Pizza Oven to feed his friends and family.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Invicta so far,” said Matt. “It is a real privilege to work for a firm that has an outstanding reputation in its field - not only in terms of product quality but also for its friendly and efficient customer service.
“I hope to continue to use my knowledge to help Invicta achieve its growth targets and assist its wide range of customers,” he added.
Invicta became an employee-owned company in 2020, which firmly puts its staff at the heart of the organisation. Having a stake in the business is a real motivator, which encourages people to be the best they can and strive for excellence at all levels. We think the fact that people care so much about what they do really shows across all aspects of the business.
